The Kiwanis of Sycamore is planning for a signature event to be held annually the Saturday prior to the Fourth of July in beautiful downtown Sycamore. The proceeds will benefit the Splash Pad at the expanded Sycamore Park District's property on Airport Road.
2017's event will be held July 1 from 4-10 p.m. in the public parking lot at Somonauk and Elm Streets and on a closed-off Somonauk Street.
Union Jack--a Beatles tribute group will be providing entertainment from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Entry fees will be $35 per adult 21 and over who will be sampling beer from the many craft brewers participating (20 samples per adult). This fee will allow entry to the event and a commerative sampling glass. Designated Drivers and children (ages 6-20) fees are $10 which will include a hot dog, chips, and a soda. Children 5 and under are free.
Foods available for purchase will include award-winning bratwurst, hot dogs, and root beer. There will also be a T-shirt vendor selling unique beer-themed t-shirts.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. There will be very limited picnic table seating for eating.

All sales are final. Tickets to this event are non-refundable. Tickets have no cash value. Due to the popularity of this event, we encourage you to buy tickets as soon as possible. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis Space is limited.
Must be 21 year of age or older with valid identification to participate in the tasting. All ticket holders must present a valid ID when entering the event, which will be checked at the gate. Please drink responsibility and use a designated driver.
Sycamore Kiwanis and the brewers participating have the authority to refuses service to intoxicated persons.
By purchasing tickets and/or attending Sycamore Kiwanis Craft Beer and Brat fest downtown Sycamore on July 1, 2017, you assume all risk of violating the state law if you operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant and further waive and forever release and indemnify the Sycamore Kiwanis and all participating distilleries, breweries, sponsors and vendors and their respective members, shareholders, officers and directors, employees, volunteers and agents from any and all liability arising from the use of alcoholic beverages or acts of nature. As a ticket holder to the Sycamore Kiwanis Craft Beer and Brat Fest downtown Sycamore July 1, 2017, you assume all risks and dangers of personal injury and all other hazards arising from or related to the Sycamore Kiwanis Craft Beer and Brat Fest whether occurring prior to, during, or after the said event. For security purposes, you hereby consent to the reasonable inspection of your person and property before entering the event. No pets, outside food or beverages.
